I believe it is right underneath the rear bumper or at least between the gas tank and rear bumper assembly. It should be right around the underneath area of your gas tank in any case.

No, it is in front of the fuel tank, before the differential, not anywhere near the bumper. It is in plain sight and easy to access. You need a fuel line disconnect tool to change it. Check your manual for the change schedule. I am thinking 40k miles? I'm not sure, I'll check on that too if you need a picture.

Is there such thing as a better flowing filter? If so....does it help out with the power?

Hell no, a new fuel filter flows almost perfectly, and unless your car is STARVING for gas then there are no gains possible, just your fuel pump will not have to work as hard.

But they should be changed like every 15k miles or something NOT every 40k like someone said, if you wait that long you will have a good chance of starving the motor.

The answer is simple look under the car where the fuel filter is, if the ends of the filter go into METAL fittings then the answer is YES, if they go into rubber fittings then the answer is NO.

btw hope you have the metal fittings, because those with the $4.97 tool make it way easier than the rubber connection.
