i dont kno a lot about superchargers...but the KB is a twin screw correct? do all of these types of superchargers offer the same power throughout the powerband? if so...maybe look at the Saleen Series IV supercharger or Roush...i think they are a bit cheaper than KB...but i honestly have no idea if they are as good. just something to consider/research perhaps.

Get a KB 1.7L intercooled kit, and get it installed. The total should be under 6k with any reasonable install price from a shop that is experienced in that sort of thing. It's a complete kit and you will have absolutely no regrets. You really need any other power mods and your car should have no trouble taking on a stock 03/04 cobra.

I would love to get the KB intercooled kit since all I hear is that it is great fun THROUGHOUT the powerband. But I can't seem to find a price that would net me under 6k WITH the install. Where can I go about finding the right KB kit for my situation so as to be in the 5200 range, and then spending another grand on the install? Thanks for the help!

well if u buy ur kit at rpmoutlet.com u will get all the fuel stuff such as inj, pump and stuff but the only thing it doesnt come with is a bigger maf...and to be honest when they were tuning my car they tried the lighning maf and it pegged just as bad as the stock one so what they did was added a Diablosport MAFia to my stock maf. U can also buy it from rpmoutlet.com. It seems to be better cause if u ever add even more power all u need to do is retune it and not have to buy a new bigger maf. But yea to answer ur question the procharger kit from rpmoutlet.com comes with everything u need.

The roush supercharger is fricken espensive. Don't buy it, it's a waste of money. The saleen series IV looks pretty sweet. Personally if I was on a tight budget, I'd go with a procharger. It's a good solid unit and is intercooled. Also dont have to tap the oil pan like Davo said earlier. Cheaper, easier install, and easier maintanence for the same price and same power gains.

Straight from www.kennebell.net It's $4899 for the intercooled version. That's good for over 400 rwhp.
