Default Brake Recommendation

I currently have a 97 GT with original stock brakes. I would like to upgrade them to something better. I don't have enough experience with mustangs to make an informed decision on name brands and brake designs.

I am asking for opinions and would like to know why you are suggesting them. Is one design better than another? Some brands have holes and others don't. Does one have a better warranty?

Thanks in advance.

drilled/slotted rotors have holes so they stay cooler, which they say gives you better braking.

if i wanted to do a serious brake upgrade, i'd do a cobra brake kit, they have some write ups on that

More like one write-up, which I just finished.

https://mustangforums.com/m_1112743/tm.htm

I upgraded to all FRPP parts, and am using the stock Motorcraft pads that came on the new calipers.

Well, my rotors aren't by FRPP, they are by Raybestos, but they are made fairly solidly, I doubt I'll have a problem with them.

No warranty... but this is a very nice upgrade. As soon as I fix my brake fluid leak and re-fill my differential I can take some pictures.
