i was just curious if anybody has changed their mass air flow sensor/meter? what kind of gains does it produce? i heard 42lb injectors must be used aswell? if you have any information, experiences i would appreciate the input.

Unless you go FI, DO NOT waste your $$ on a new MAF. And 42# injectors on a N/A motor, you would probably watch fuel dump out of the tail pipes.

+1. N/a you will be waisting fuel, plus you will need a bigger fuel pump for the injectors. Do those things if you get a blower.

but if your maf is going bad and you want to you could use a cobra maf and #24 injectors if you want. I know i asked about this a couple of times on this forum and i just got the dont do it answer. YOu know what it wont hurt you to go to 24s just dont need to. if you are pussing alittle more air i say a little more fuel aint going to hurt either. rather be a little rich than lean

Yes but the mass air must match the injector size. Every mass air meter is calibrated to a certian size injector.

Bad wording.....ANY MAF can be used with ANY injectors. The MAF isn't calibrated to the injectors, the computer is calibrated for the injectors and MAF. I run my stock MAF that came on my car with 19# injectors. I still use the same MAF with 30# injectors.

yes but a recalibrated maf is easy to get and handheld tuner cost a considerable amount more at one time.in one way he is right . switching the maf will work but not the best way to go
