Tool fan,
Funny thing, after I got the GT, my wife wanted to trade me in the worst way. She was funny, she would say: your's rides nicer, I like the quietness, under the hood (intake roar), it rides softer, mine's too loud (the Bullitt). Funny thing, I didn't want the Bullitt because I believe it is worth more left alone and un-modded. When the 6500 units are gone, they're gone. Now with the GT, even if it's a 40th, who cares, mod till your hearts content, they are a dime a dozen and I have. I've done to my car everything my wife doesn't like about hers.........and more, he, he. Our Bullitt is a Garage queen, it only has 9200 miles on it, fun ride, we love it. I will post a picture soon of both of our cars.

I can't answer that, but Iwill look thru some of our old literature, some magazines Dynoed them, they do dyno out with a pretty good lead over a GT. You know right away when you drive one, they definitely are much more ballsy. One of my students had a brand new GT, in '01, I drove it, I was amazed at the difference, the Bullitt will roast tires at 2000-2500 rpm, with the GT, much higher RPMs are needed to do the same thing.

I'm almost convinced it's the cats.

Yeah I have chirped the tires at 60 mph, dropping from 4th to 3rd and flooring it.

I believe I probably have one of the ONLY Bullitts in Germany, Last I read they only made 750 blue Bullitts all together and I got one, so I am pretty stoked. I have changed out the headlights and grills (all replaceable to OEM). I just wanted it to stand out in a crowd. I know most of you guys are all,"ooh limited edition, don't touch it!!!" I like my visual upgrades and when I put the chrome bullitts on it and tint the windows, she is going to really stand out.

Bullits are great automobiles and, yes, underrated. Some of the most popular car enthusiast magazines voted the Mach 1 as the absolute best bang for the buck of all the modern Mustangs. Both the Bullit and Mach 1 are great cars. Cobras, especially '03 & '04's, speak for themselves.

+1 and the 03/04 cobra
I disagree. I think the 385-390hp is accurate. I mean I could be wrong but I really disagree.
No its not...they dyno like 360-370ish at the wheels. 370 at the wheels, 15% drivetrain loss = 420-435ish crank hp.

We put my buddys 03 GT on the dyno here at wyotech and it made 225 to the rear wheels. It was as stock as they come.
