another ebayer! My mom and I buy/sell on ebay all the time.

So you can hear the CAI and feel a difference? I may get one soon then

George
i cant hear it but thats because my exuast is rideculiously loud, my engine got louder and i felt a better throttle reposne but not really anymore power but u wont notice it w/o having an exuast. ie bring more air in but stock exuast= not enough flow

little parts like that make a diff, but you will never feel them (HP wise) if u do them in steps but if u do them all at once then u would feel a gain in HP/TQ/throttle response

yeah I've got some higher flowing mufflers so an intake upgrade will be a good idea.

I read that article, and I'll be damned! That's awesome I'll have to do that later, and from the way they show it, it still pulls the air from a cool area!

yeah that is gonna work, but until you get a cai then there is no reason to mess with it. I have a fenderwell so i have ti remove it. I think that the fenderwell is the best way to go. You get absolutely no engine heat and i felt the power right away. But one problem you have is cleaning the filter. removing and installing the b**** is the worst part. you have to jack up your car just to get to the damn thing.

you can't just like un bolt it from the engine compartment and pull it out the way the stock one comes out?

( haven't had a CAI intake sorry if I seem ignorant)

no the fenderwell goes where your silencer would go and it sticks out right above the wheel. it is a good, clean setup, but the installing and cleaning is a biotch. i got mine from brothersperformance.com for very cheap. it costed me 150 just because the box was opened. Never used and was brand new when i got it.

i dunno about that, but one thing i did hear was that a lot of the people who own gt make soooo much intake flow but not enough fuel flow, so when you get an o/r mid and a cat back, plenum + throttle body and cai you are adding sooo much intake flow that you will not have enough back pressure so when you finally get the money to buy headers you actually lose hp at the low power bands. I read this about 6 months ago in mm&ff
