Default Bullitt Dyno run, Is this correct?

My interest was piqued over all this dyno talk Bullitt vs GT, two different internet articles, similar dyno results, For the Bullitt STOCK!!!!!
239.8 RWHP
281 RWTQ
http://www.stangnet.com/pbullitt/bullittdyno.html
236.8 RWHP
279.7RWTQ
http://www.musclemustangfastfords.co...111mmf_bullit/

If so, why are the stock GT #'s so low, 211RWHP, as posted by another member, was the BULLITT, underrated. Where do the BS and truth meet?

211 sounds like an AUTO GT. a 5 speed 99+ is going to dyno 220-229. mine dyno'd 228 stock and 239 with catback and catted X.

How about a '01 to '04 10 to 1 Compression ratio 5 spd GT, a little better, anyone have any #'s for a stocker?

wow nanaki your good those were my numbers and yes im running an auto. i wish my car was underrated[:@] but after doing the math for power loss, i ended up with 259.5HP at the flywheel. so its pretty dead on.

Boy, if someone would pay for my dyno run, we can figure out once and for all what a stock 5 speed GT will run.

stop taking dyno numbers as the gospel. it's not meant for figuring out exactly how much HP you have, it's meant for tuning. the only dyno runs you can use to compare are back-to-back runs on the same dyno with the same car.

Well, people use dynos for tuning. They tune a car to get more HP. Dynos mesure in HP. So, why is it not used to figure out the exact HP?

I'm was just saying that I have seen alot of posts on ppl asking what the stock HP is on 5 speed GT is. THX to complex variables and the machining process, similar GTs would show different results. However, once and for all a stock baseline would be established.

dynos measure in hp, but there are also too many variables which cannot be eliminated or controlled to make a dyno run and then say "All stock 5 speeds should dyno XXXHP". just temperature and humidity can change your HP numbers by 10 or more HP.

try again. when my car had the blower installed in the summer, it put down 354RWHP. right before the tb/plenum install on the dyno in the freezing *** cold, it dyno'd the same exact number within tenths of seconds.
