Layers of clear coat on gt's

Just curious how many clear coats ford puts on there cars.
I'm thinking about having my front bumper repainted due to rock chips from the highway

Dude, probably just one. I wonder if they put any layers of clearcoat on mine. Bird crap and lovebugs wreak havoc on paint. I need my front bumper repainted too. I do mostly highway driving so tractor trailers have target practice with my front end.

before i took delivery on mine, i had the detailer wet sand and buff my front bumper and i didnt loose any gloss. theres gotta be a few coats of clearcoat on there. then again its also different between colors too.
