Do any of you guys a MAC prochamber? The reason i ask is because i have one and i love it, but i was wondering if my RPM's are supposed to hang as much as they do. Everyone tells me it is from the backpressure the prochamber makes, but I Hate it. Could it be something else that makes it hang like that, it take forever for it to fall if i rev it up. Any suggestions?

Mine does the same thing except I have a mac catted H. It even did the same thing when I had a catted X. Its pretty much normal to my understanding with any aftermarket midpipe.

i have a prochamber, and i dont expirience that same problem, when i rev it, it goes up and down quick, maybe its a fuel, spark, or air problem? maybe its jus normal? i dont know, but i dont have that problem....what muffs you got? i got macs also....and mac LT headers....

I think generally speaking most fuel injected engines take a bit to come back down. It's to lower the sudden rich condition and backfiring you sometimes get with say carbureted engines.


mine does it too with just flowmasters

Its probably the throttle hang.Someone posted about it on here and I tried to fix mine today. I got it when I start the car it wants to die, then I got it were the car ran but dropped to like 800 when the clutch was in and then I got it to only drop to 2K at the lowest so I'll try to fix it tomorrow. Maybe i'll just end up keeping it the way it was.
