Default Insuring a mach question!

For you mach 1 owners, how is the insurance for them? Are they considered GTs in the eyes of the insurers?

Insurance is different for everyone. Age, driving record, where you live, ins. company etc. Contact your agent and ask him around what you`ll be paying. He will be able to help you better.

Believe me, they will know exactly what kind of car/model it is.

yeah call them. They will tell you for free. They come up as machs because machs have an R in the vin. But recently there was a topic at a mach forum o goto w/ a person deciding over a mach and a cobra and most people said insurers counted the mach the same as a gt but the cobra was a lot more

i recently went through a bunch of crap with my insurance company and the kid was pretty friendly and was asking me some questions about my car......long story short the mach 1 should fall into the same bucket as the GT

If you dont feel like calling just go to progressive and do two insurance quotes. One on the gt and one on the mach and see what the diff in price is.
