RE: 14.0's ??????
If your breakin loose like you were, you are going to run 14s. think about how much time AND speed is lost waiting for it to hook up. Tires for sure maybe some suspension work like subframe connectors. That car should run 13s easy

That's exactly what I was hoping to hear, I should be able to launch a little harder on a set of dr's, and I may even be able to powershift second!! I can't wait for tax returns!!! Tires and exhaust baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you will pull far better than a 13.8 if you are breaking loose so much and still running a 14.0.
My car would spin, and then bog in 2nd when I was still running the regular tires and the 3.73s. I can only imagine how much tirespin you are having in 2nd to get a 3rd gear burnout like that.

RE: 14.0's ??????
but I consistantly ran 14.0X at between 99 and 100 MPH.
i ran a 14.086@99.09 with 4.10's, an o/r H and a catback
i had DR's too, but apparently they didnt help me much as i only managed a 2.05 60'
i must be shifting terribly on top of having such a terrible launch..
if you bring down that 60', either by practicing on your current tires, or goin for some DR's, i would guess 13.79's... for every .1 i cut off my 60' from the previous experiance, i cut nearly .25 and since i cut .2 off my 60', i gained almost a full half second
good luck, and decent times man.
keep us informed

Is anyone here powershifting second with a gear and stock tires? If so, what are your times? I really wish I could have, but i kinda worked backwards, granny shifted all 3 shifts, then just into 2nd and 3rd, but when I powershifted 2-3 I got a little freaked out about trying to powershift 1-2. I'm not trying to brag, because I realize it was all from the #h!tty tires, but one of my friends called me on the return road and said that he thought I had lost the car going 2-3 hard.

Ray I forgot to ask but are you using a shift kit? I run a Steeda Tri axe, a good shift kit helps a bunch espcially going into 3rd. With my Tri axe, they are pre loaded and you cant miss 3rd thats whats awesome.
