Meebix, the one in Brick is reputable and is specialized in mustangs. That's where i plan to get all serious work done.

Around how much is he charging for install? I want LT's also but the only thing keeping me away right now is the labor charges.

are you sure it feels slower??? cause your just just letting the engine breathe better, also it could be you o2 sensors ive hear the if not hooked up properly it causes the engine to retard the timing. idk thats weird[&:]

When I installed mine, i noticed its a little more sluggish over 3k rpm's however it definatly pulls harder over 3500. Kauffmans is really good in eastern PA.

yeah long tube headers are race type exhaust. Most of them give you good high end punch but the lack of back pressure makes for less low end torque.... take it out and let it scream , you should feel more snap once it gets revvin

Yeah, with the long tubes it feels like there is an added kick at 4000 rpms. I'd rather have the power up top than downlow when you shouldnt be trying to race people under 3000rpms anyway.

lol +1...but what about mids? do they give you "an added kick" at all? or are they just simply not worth it?

I noticed a loss at low rpm's after I installed a set of Bassani mid-lengths.This was going up "dyno hill" at 30 mph and it was with stock gears. The power comes on after 3000-3500 rpm with just bolt on parts.75mm T/B/P,UDP's,timing adjuster, air filter, and trimmed air silencer.
Not a big loss but it takes more throttle to climb the hill than it did before.

I think they are definatly worth it.... midrange its about the same; upper rpms definatly more a kick.

However regardless of power... it sounds like pure sex. Hell i've been driving with my windows down all winter. IMO a cars sound can not compare to any car with long tubes.
