The manual Mach1 would definetely benefit from a centrifugal since it redlines at 6800. The auto redlines at 5800 acording to this article. Here is another article about the Mach1 and Vortech crushing a stock 03 Cobra.

They make a kit for that application; easy bolt on. BTW, the 1.7L non-intercooled KB puts down 34 more HP than the Roots blown Ford Cobra at a lower psi. Hard to beat the power band and efficiency of a twin screw since it blows strong all the way to redline. AMG, Mercedes-Benz in house tuner used IHI twin screws on their 32's and 55's.

How does a twin screw like a Kenne Bell and a centrifugal like a Vortech compare in the 1/4 and, say, 0-60 acceleration?

how about 0-60 mph? would the kenne bell be quicker there because of the boost down low or does the vortech still make enough power to be quicker?

you know what thats a great movie but their on the street....

if they were on the 1/4 a cobra with a vortech would easily kill that guy.

prob kb is quicker cuz it makes full boost at 2000rpm+ but vortech kills at 4000rpm... 0-60 i guess it just depends on the launch. If vortech guy launches at 4k rpm im pretty sure he will just murder the guy with the kb(IF BOTH GUYS CAN HOOK). Im not to sure though.
