Default Tire Size Advice

Which size tire would you guys go with for 18x9 Saleens from Mustangtuning? I want to put them on my mustang but i have a close to 2" drop with my H&R's. I went down to the tire shop and the guy there must be retarded because he said to go with 245's and it didnt matter even with the lowering springs but i dont think there is enough room. My friend has 18" boyd coddingtons with Michelin 245 and they rubb if you cut the wheel completely and he has stock springs. So what size would u guys go with? Im guessing everyone will pick Nitto for a brand, but keep in mind im on a budget!

I have 265/35-18 on the 18x9 chrome saleen wheels in the front, no drop. No rubbing even when it is turned all the way left or right.

I also have 295/35-18 on 18x10 wheels for the rear... No rubbing back there either.

I bought BFG g-Force KDW tires. Price? Way the hell too much... but that's what you pay for 18" wheels and wide tires. It's a regular street tire, and was about average priced (compared to any other appropriately sized tires I could find). Definitely more traction than my old, bald factory tires.

I have 18x9 Saleens on my 97...Just bought Kumho Ecsta MX tires in 245/40/18 front and 275/40/18 rear. I have an Eibach Pro Kit which was rated to drop the car around 1.7 for my year...I currently have a little rub if you cut the wheel all the way too...
