Removable hardtop for a 1999 Vert?

Anyone know of a company that makes a removable hardtop for a 1999 vert? I am in the process of selling my 94 Cobra and getting a 1999 Cobra coupe but I always find myself wanting to have a convertible on those super nice days, but I hate the the look of a convertible top so... If I can find a hardtop kit I would definatly be buying a vert. I called late model restoration and one of the guys there said he's seen them before but cannot remember where or who made them. thanks for anyones help

I have seen the Targa top conversions, but they scare me because of rigidity issues.

I wouldn't mind the targa top either. But I refuse to trust anyone to cut a section of my roof off my car that wasn't manufactured to be without that section of the car there. Do you know the name of that company or their web address?

Looks pretty good, I can't find any pricing info on the site though.

yea but a targa top would be way more rigid then a ragtop that thing doesnt help the chassis for **** :) personally i would never buy a convertable i freaking cant stand them, if i got offered a 2003 cobra vert for the same price as my GT i would prolly take my GT as sad as it sounds thats just my opinion

Good point I mean if you really think about it. Maybe the Targa wouldn't take away that much of the structural aspect of the anymore if not less than a vert. And that one from smoothline looks stupid. the rear window is just as small as a vert one and the side windows aren't even the same size or shape as the coupe. Maybe if I can find someone that I can trust, I will be looking at getting the Targa kit.

Yeah but Ford adds additional bracing into vert Stangs in order for the car to be able to handle the loss of rigidity that comes with losing the roof section. Isn't that why verts are heavier than coups?

You cut the top of a coup & without that extra bracing well,, your car could turn into an accordian lol. Or maybe the Targa shop includes the bracing in it's kit..?
