what kit is that? I either want a NOS powerfogger wet kit or one from NX.

get the cold air intake. bbk headers,h-pipe and 2 chamber flows will give you some horse power and get your computer dyno tuned and you will get the max hp out of your car.
You REALLY need to do some more homework on your performance modifications. a CAI is NOT a great performance mod. Actually, it's pretty worthless. He Should focus on a m.a.m. setup instead & pull 30hp out of freer breathing instead of 5hp. 2 Chamber flows might give you 2-3rwhp. That's nothing compared to a straight through system, The h-pipe does not equal an x-pipe for hp, & you will NOT get the max hp from his car with these mods & a computer dyno tune.

There is a CRAP LOAD more he needs to do to his car to warrant a dyno tuned chip. Granted, a chip WILL BE needed, but...just to gain 15rwhp from it, nah. To smooth out a ft-lb, rwhp curve, yea; to richin, or lean out fuel, yea; to have a speedo calibration w/gearing done, yea; to adjust timing, & a thermostat, yea, but not for a CAI, or FLOWMASTERS! LOL[:@]! It'd cost him more for a tuned chip than he'd want to pay anyway. Not a bang for the $$$ w/your aformentioned modifications.

I have heard that a NX wet-kit is the way to go. I am not an N20 fan myself, but I can find out anything you want to know about a particular hp shot if u'd like.

Got the gears installed. I looked at the speed vs. rpm to let you know how streetable they are...

70 @ 2300 rpms
75 @ 2500 rpms
80 @ 2700 rpms
150 @ 5500 rpms

So as you can see, you can still get some good top end speed as well contrary to what people say...

*As far as performance, I'll have to get back to you on that. I was told not to "beat it up" until after 200 miles. I can tell you that it feels "much" stronger than before. It feels peppy, because you gain alot of low end that wasn't there before.
If your are only getting 2300 rpms at 70mph with 4:10 gears, something is wrong. Stock 3:27's running at 66mph give off 2000 rpms. That is a hard fact. I am sorry, but your figures are way off base.

you need to do your homework because dyno and cold air intake can help you i have proof a stock gt gained 15 hp just on the dyno tuned. it will work and i will post the dyno.
it is not just the c.a.i. the dyno included it gained 15 hp at the rw.

With an m.a.m. you are very correct. With a c.a.i. you are very wrong. Maybe you have two mixed up[>:]? There is NO was a c.a.i. can do that w/just an air filter, & tube. Post the dyno. Even if you do I'm going to call b.s., & so will everyone else who knows the difference you obviously don't.

The best one out there is that K&N FIPK, & it's not work the money, when you can buy a C&L for a little more & get more than double the hp. If you add a plenum, add 12 more. The cai give a different filter, & that is nothing special...espeically compared to say an Anderson Ford Motorsports Power Pipe, C&L True Flow pipe, or anything from Pro-M.
