Default Installed x-pipe. Stock headers and catback.

I originally ordered the Pypes x-pipe but rpmoutlet shipped BBK instead. No surprises there.

I have to say the performance gain is unbeliveble. A slight tap and the car forces forward. The sound is very good, better than I expected. Barely touching the gas it sounds very deep and powerful. Around 1500-1600 rpm half-throttle it sounds kind of weird, slightly metallic, but it's a sound familiar to non-catted vehicles. At high rpm it simply screams and sounds great.

Best of all, the exhaust is just as quiet as stock when cruising on the highway at under 2000 rpm.

nice... all the gains of the exhaust, without the drone of a catback. And still a sleeper at cruising RPM.

Me and my brother installed his Bassani X on his car yesterday and it sounds killer even with his stock headers and cat back.

Good to hear that. I remember your thread when you baught him the stuff.

I love my xpipe with stock exhaust. Only thing is that it rattles a bit when cold. I don't know if something is loose or that's just how an OR pipe is.

sounds good.. but i personally would enjoy a little more sound with an aftermarket catback. But it sounds awsome.. just quieter

Thanks for the comments. I might eventually add a catback but I'm in no rush for now. [8D]
