Well yea, definitely forged internals - and No it wouldn't be a DD because by time I put the money into it to get that much out of it, it would be my very semi-DD if not total weekend car by then.

So I was just saying theorectically, assuming everything was taken care of to reach the HP of my desire, what is a good street number for shows, fun, etc.?

well i don't think you'll be doing it all at once so you'll probably figure it out as you go. after you get your internals done and a blower (asuming you're going with one or a TT with that much hp) you might think to yourself that it'll be enough at 500. or if you're still not satisfied...you'll do some more mods. it's not really anything to worry about so far into the future. think more about what you're going to do within the next year

My current goal (and opinion) is the 300 neighborhood. My car is a DD even during winter so, if I can squeak 290-305 RWHP out of my 2000 GT and remain streetable, I would be happy. Oh, but I would throw a small 100 shot courtesy of NX for when 295 HP from the motor alone isn't enough.

Yea I would definitely do it over time.

And just a qucikie... Is a turbo the only way you can reach high HP #'s? Or can you reach that with S/C..? May be an extremely dumb question, but I have no clue when it comes to PA's.

I hope its not only with a turbo, because I do know with turbos you have to change a lot, such as exhaust, which I just ordered [:@]
And I know with S/C's you don't have to have "special" exhaust and stuff like the turbo.

Well the fastest I've gone in my car is 115. I did it because I was getting jerked around by some dumbass in a 5.7 GTO. I wanted to get away from him so there wouldnt be an accident cuz the guy was just nuts. I obey speed limits on highways. This pisses a lot of people off because of what I'm driving. But I veiw a habit excessive speeding like I veiw street racing. It's for people who need to prove their car has *****. I don't need to prove that.
