I noticed better trottle response but the intake sound is not real noticable . I have one on my 2002 tahoe and the sound is real awsome.

i have it too, i have had them on 4 different cars, this one i really cant hear, i think it smooths out the acceleration a bit, but it could be all in my head. I think K&Ns are well made rather than a simple tube and filter, now whether they are better than a simple set up, i am pretty sure there are dyno numbers out there somewhere.

I bought mine on ebay for $81.00 (a steal) and noticed some throttle response. You can find them cheaper than $200.00 mine works great like new.

keep the one you have. you would see very minimal of a difference if any difference at all. plus the BBK one looks better. i wouldn't waste the money to replace something that you already have done and especially for a mod that does so little. i have the K&N FIPK and didn't notice anything over stock. can't hear it cuz my exhuast is too loud and theres no way i could feel that anyways as well as anyone because it nets you next to nothing. get gears or something thats more affective.

if you already have a CAI, don't waste your money. you're just paying for the name and probably .2HP more. it's not worth $200 if you already have one.

right now I have a MAC fenderwell and on my V6 I had the K&N FlipK Gen 2 and from personal experience the K&N was alot better. Didnt hear the whistle noise, and the filter was twice as big. Plus not to mention how dirty the fenderwell kits get and how much of a PINA it is to clean them. It doesnt even fit in good u have to like really pull to get it out. I am gettin a new IAC and it will be either the Steeda (which is more than the K&N) or the K&N, plus they arent metal so the air stays cooler. Not a noticeable difference but nice to have
