That video is crazy, NO I don't do anything like that, but I have hit the rev limiter a couple of times right at about 5400 rpm.....bad????
5400? must be an auto, and if so make sure you are in 1 or 2 and not in D
so whats so bad about doing it in D? the tranny starts out in first gear anyway.

ya and it shifts into second and you say buh by to your tranny cause your not moving, now if you do 1-2 sport shifting and you chirp second its fine cause your car has the movement forward, but it will just instantly stop the tires while it shifts, and if its in first or second they have manual valve bodies so you know its in either first or second gear.

I must do it wrong by your standards--unlike the vid I let off of the brakes once I get revs up to about 1500-it burns all the way thru second-kinda like a very bad launch

a true burnout, put it in 1 or 2, if its in 2 you are in second gear so only do that if you have the mods to do it or 4.10s or higher, hold the breaks and bring up the rpms to around 3k, my rear tire on my 6er cuts loose around 1500 rpms, let off the breaks when you are done.

My bad --You are talking about heating up the tires type burn-out like before a run.I was just laying down rubber for fun.

even if its just taking off, i go from 1-2 about 500 rpms before the redline and it will chirp second gear, the trannys programed to sport shift so it firms up shifts when doing this
