Default Full Bolt ons vs. supercharger

Well, so far I have slp catback, and the diablosport tuner is on the way,,,, do I keep building it slowly with bolt on's or just save upp and supercharge it later on in the summer? If I supercharge I am gonna go with the ati procharger kit that includes everything ( injectors, fuel pump, ect...) What would you do? a little horsepower here and there, or just wait and go for the big numbers all at once????

Well see, personally I want more power than I could attain N/A, so I would go with the S/C.

Eventually my plan is to start with the S/C, get that out of the way, and then build from there. I will run the S/C at low PSI for a while, then I will grab a new block, forge it, and get the most out of the S/C. THEN, I will start adding the N/A stuff, more and more bolt on's and so on until I reach my 600 rwhp goal and I will stop.

Just for a little street fun =)

You will spend A LOT more money going N/A down the road then with the S/C and you will be looking at totally opposite gain spectrums. I plan on going big first (S/C) then adding the bolt on's, and such to continue to upgrade the power.

I think people will tell you different, personal opinion really, but I would get the "Main Factor" which is the S/C out of the way first. Then work up the bolt ons. But grant it, depending on how high your aiming, you won't get past a certain point without the bolt on's. So if you want to build up the bolt-ons first then just throw the S/C in there, either way will work in the end.

Buy the s/c and be happy, but be realistic. Speed is expensive.

I would go with the supercharger first. Gather more money. Forged bottom end and higher boost.. then bolt on's. You can run low boost and be happy for a while... save up to get beefier rods and pistons with a lower compression ratio.. drop them in an up the boost WAY up.. be like supercharging it twice [8D]

If I could do it over again I would have put the blower on the car totally stock, not even with exhaust, and then did everything else later. The blower is simply amazing compared to the bolt on stuff.

I enjoy adding aftermarket parts, me personally I am going as far as I possibly can with out adding boost, once I have hit the peak and if I want more I will boost it.

slowly adding bolt-ons wont give the power you are looking for, you will spend way over the price of a s/c and not even half the power added.
