Default Subframe connectors

My wife I recently purchased a 2001 Mustang GT convertible. I did the first oil change last week and notice there are a number of subframe connectors on the car. Very nice job I might add. Do some of you more expercienced Mustang folks know if this is done by Ford to the convertibles or is it most likely aftermarket add ons by the previous owner? The car also appears to have a different exhaust than other GT's I see. I measured the outlets and they're 3 inches. Car is nice and runs fine just wondering about the details.

subframes are aftermarket. Nice cheap addition that helps those out a bunch.

Your exhaust is 3" tips, but is it 3" all the way through from the midpipe back? Do the mufflers look like a normal GT's mufflers? How loud is it? Its very possible they just put on bigger tips for looks as well if it has the same sound.

Body style.. Fox is 79-93, SN95 is 94-98, SN95-blahblahblah is the 99-04 but they are all called "New Edge" stangs, and I cannot remember the code for the 05+
No on ever calls the new edge's by their sn# though. any time you see SN or SN95 they mean the 94-98
Kinda like the vettes.. C1 - C6
Camaro's go in generations. First gen-4th gen I beleive. 3rd Gen was the mullet cars

I have seen a few GT convertibles at the dealership that I work at that had the subframe connectors on them. Appeared to be factory. I'm thinking that it's a vert thing.

Yeah verts come with them from the factory, if they didn't have them the frames would bend.
