I have a 96 auto gt and im fixn to buy a shift kit but ive heard rumors that the decrease the life of your tranny. I really dont have the $$$ for a new tranny so is this true

no it actually increases it, but a tranny cooler might be a good idea, and they're cheap

duh o idk, maybe the fact its less friction on the pieces, it doesnt take long to shift, its less wear and tear b/c its quick instead of just a slow grinding shift. Get a tranny cooler while your at it.
