Well if it going to get your cats closer together you wasted money on an x-pipe. I think you mean it is going to get you mufflers closer together. Which in fact would be untrue. There is really no place for the mufflers go to. The driveshaft and tunnel run right between them. And bring them closer to gether won't change the sound. I imagine that this kit is a set of ....

I just looked it up for $1000.00 it should be more than a rear bumper and some pipe. I think you need to do some homework on what this exhaust is. For that price I would think it would be a whole cat back system and bumper..

Yeah 03Black, thats the problem .. not a lot of people have heard the center-exhaust .. so i don't really know what i'm doing here .. but i guess i'll go with center-exhaust no matter what .. concerning the side exhaust - i'm not a fan ..

I've ready done my homework .. i'll buy the catback from any authorized Bassani dealer here .. and for the center-exhaust:
www.speedworx.com <-- check it out and tell me what you think!

Saleen 99-03 Center-Exhaust Rear Bumper Cover - $569.99
Chicane's Original Center-Exhaust System for the Saleen S351 Rear Valance - $319.95

That doesn't include shipping, paint, installation.

Nor does it include the Bassani catback - around $600

Yes, very true Silver... They mufflers will be front to back instead of side to side. they pipe will come straight, make a huge 90 degree turn into the mufflers and another 90 degrees to the tips.

Well I still don't see anything about a center exhaust and that you need a cat-back to do it. I found the valances but not the center exhaust itself. I thinking your are about to drop alot on money and not get what you needed to do it.
Plus I think you are not going to find many if any people on this board with center exhaust experiance. If you are concerened about what it sounds like I wouldn't drop the money on it unitl I heard what it sounds like.
On top of that i feel by adding extra bends to the exhaust you are going to restrict it. Sure it looks cool but does it get you anything?

hell most of you guys will never ever get the full potenial out of any exhaust so why worry... any 2.5" exhaust will help the extra 1/2" is where it's for the most part at the other is for sound thier might be a few ponies to get from different but not on 200-300 hp car

I think that if you want a center exhaust like that, go to a custom shop and tell them to do it for you. Get the X-pipe, Get the bumper, and go to a custom shop and have them install it. I think it'll save you $$$ doing the custom work.
