Default Finally found rattles

If your car gets an annoying metallic rattle 2500 - 3500 rpm, it could be the clutch fork cover. Mine was vibrating against the bellhousing. The fix, one sided soft foam weatherstrip, around the front, and under the side rails. I also found brake lines rattling against the chassis, underneath the inner fender liner behind the RF wheel. These two items were creating my orchestra of annoyance.
Ah, yes silence is golden, I can now concenntrate on the growl of my exhaust.

haha. That's cool, my 97 just has a few squeaks here and there that I just ignore.

Our 69 impala... we took what was left of the orginal single exhaust and built some new parts around it. Cruising it's fine... but on idle it rattles/shakes liike a biiotch... too bad no one offers a dual exhaust kit for this car [:@]

It's hard to enjoy any exhaust when all you hear are clunks and rattles

I had a real bad rattle in the trunk... finally I found it... it was the bumper cover under the tail light... for some reason it isn’t sitting all the way against whatever is below it... which is something metal... so the polyurethane bumper cover and metal under it were vibrating together due to the exhaust note from the exhaust.... it sure is nice to have found it!!!!!
Oh and i fixed it by shoving some paper towel between the two...
