About the B&M now...
Hey guys, while looking for programmers, i came across this B&M electronic "shift kit" if you will. I was just looking at the hypertech stage 3, but since i wouldn't be using the engine program, no need to waste 350 bucks on something i can spend 40 bucks on. Anyway, THIS MODEL is the only one that will go on a 1996 ford with several different tranny types. My first question, is will this work with my car? In other words, what auto tranny do i have in my GT? Second, if anyone has had experience with one of these or knows someone with one, are they comparable to a mild street shift kit? As some of you can tell, i want to get as close as possible without touching my tranny. If there are any harder-shifting electronic progammers out, tell me which. Thanks for the help...

RE: About the B&M now...
Looks like a nice kit, but like i said, i'd like to stay away from doing anything inside the tranny, even if it's just dropping the pan and replacing a few springs and plates. I've never touched an auto, so i will have no background on what i'm doing. Also what tranny does the '96 GT have?
