which nittos are the best with the grip and tread life? Nitto NT 555R Drag Radial, Nitto NT 555 Extreme Performance, Nitto NT555R II Extreme, Nitto NT-01?

unless there's another tire of course.

reading that tire chart now. hrmmmmm
There's a guy at my apartment complex who has a Lightning with about 23K+ miles on his tires

Kumho V700's.
^^^I hear good things about those too with decent milage. Stay away from Michelin, Bridgestone, and Falked (not traction from my experience) I like my Hankooks alright for a street tire, but they still suck. They just suck less than my previous tires.

By far the bf-goodrich kdw-2. I have them on the gt and I can keep up around corners
with my buddies S4(awd) stage 2. Only $149/tire and I have half tread left after almost 14000 miles(about 20-25 burnouts)

My front Kumho's were like $240.00 (275/40/17), the rear were $360.00 (335/35/17), that was mounted, balanced and road hazard.

i'm assuming that's for a pair. $240 isn't bad at all. and they hook up great and last a long time?
