That article was a sham.....It's a Typhoon made by RPM products (or somethinh like that). Save your $$, it's not available yet. I would pass on it, but that's just me.

yea it was the Typhoon. i just read an article on it other day and they are boasting 23rwhp.I forget the price though. Not a bad mod for the PI's though.

eh... IMO its useless unless you have a built bottom end. The rpm range on it says 1500-6500... so i dont see how you can get the full potential out of the manifold unless you have a built bottom end.

Please explain your reasoning.... Sounds like it would be a nice mod on a stock stang to me, well one with a nice TB/Plenum combo and exhaust.

"Developed in conjunction with one of the leading Mustang specialists, this manifold has been dyno proven to produce 23 more horsepower than a stock manifold at ,6300 rpm with similar"

How do you plan on reaching 6300 on a stock motor?

First off, the test was done a built motor with full exhaust. With an aftermarket plenum and TB the engine gained 7HP @ 5800rpms, with the addition of the intake, plenum and TB..the increase was 16hp @ 6200rpms and lost 1tq from just the addition of TB and plenum. So, on a built motor there was a 16hp gain @ 6200rpms and 2tq. They advertise 25hp...but with my calculations 326hp minus 310hp is only a 16hp gain. WTF??

I gothcya. I don't remember seeing peak HP gains were at that high of an rpm though. What article is that from, magazine etc.?
