Default line lock for 96-98? where?

what line lock kit do i need for a 96-98? the SLP kit is only for 99-04 and i cant figure out why. what kit is needed and how much for a 96-98?

They dont make um.......apparently the non pi car years dont have enough power to spin the wheels. good luck

This one will work well for you. If you do not like this one then Hurst makes a kit called "roll control" This will also work for you. It can be purchased thru "Jegs" or "Summit".

Someone enlighten me as to what a linelock does and how it is useful and when it is neccessary...

A line lock locks up the front brakes only so that you can do a burn out easyer. If you have big brakes in the back a line lock is a good idea. Basicaly you push in the break pedal, flip the lock switch, do a burn out at will, and then deactivate the lock to roll off the line.

you can flip a switch, it locks up your front brakes and you can do burnouts from my understanding

$300!!! wow the SLP is only like 150. i looked at the hurst and its like 128. i was just wondering if there is any other ones made
