Default 18" wheels and springs

I'm new to the board, but i've been viewing posts for a while now. Just got myself an 02 GT and the first thing I am thinking about doing is getting some new wheels and lowering springs. I have made my decision on the wheels, and I am going to go with 18" saleen style wheels. My question is what lowering springs should I go with (if any) to make the wheels look right. I don't want to slam it, but I want to lose the 4 x 4 look that I currently have with my 17s with stock springs.

Easy as pie! But don't forget about the BBK Specific Rate kit. Only $170 shipped from JEGS and the ride is great! It lowered 1.5"...

My vote goes to Steeda Sport Springs. Lots of people in the local club here run them, and I had them as well. They're exactly the stance you're looking for (low, but not too low) and are designed for performance as much as looks (which is more than I can say for eibach).

They're about the same price, too!

I would go with a spring, shock, strut kit. I bought these off ebay and am installing this weekend after driving a friends car that have them --> http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...RK%3AMEWN%3AIT

the stock shocks are not designed to be used with the car lower and will hurt performance

i would go with the steeda ones.

2 inches is to much IMO, looks good, but a little to low for daily use.

You should be slapped for paying $400 for springs/shocks/struts.

Are they adjustable? If so, ok...If not, WTF!

Get Monroe Sensitracks for a foxbody from Auto Zone for the rears, they work great and are like $15 a piece.
