From my research, the T56 requires a new driveshaft. Both the TKOs and the T56s need the bell housing.

About the two overdrives, I dont want to sound like a dick but.... a lot of mustang guys complain that the new GT for example has a five speed whereas many less hp imports have 6-speeds. If there is not much over it... why the complaint??? I was talking to friend training to me a Ford tech and we discussed that the gearing is closer together so that will equate better acceleration and a bit better econonmy at higher speeds. The convo was more indepth than that but that is what it boiled down to. I can agree w/ that.

The TKOs look like they will be find for 500 hp but I dont know if the extra gear is worth the money.

IDK, I am now kinda leaning towards a TKO 600 now. It is only about 70 buxs more than the 500 and I am not sure if it is worth the money for a six speed that is Technically weaker. Anyone have a TKO and how do you like it???
