it is the front right-tire...... it just makes a doug-doug-doug sound during the initial acceleration. i saw if soemthing wa sin the way, but wasnt the case. i just had Pepboys check my engine, transmission and other stuff checked before buying the car. After that it has been sounding weird. I am not saying that they did it, but then who knows.......any suggestions?

Is the sound a metalic scraping sound ?Does it speed up with the car ?Is it a light sound ,like sheet metal,or heavy, like frame or rim metal? This can tell you where to look for any evidence of rubbing(metal to metal)or chafing(rubber to metal).Look for misrouted brake lines or possibly a bent rim that changed position during the inspection .All of these are shots in the dark but hope they help.

Firstly thanks for your comments.
It is as if rubber against metal.....it is as if a rubber hits the side, and everytime the wheel takes a rotation it hits it again...... its like pulling a rod up a staircase.... everytime it hits a new step makes a noise... i dont know if i am makign sense.
i tried to look at the tire but there is nothign touching it.... so maybe something within?

I don't know but is there any way your spindle nut could be loose.Raise the car and try to shake the front tires. If they move find out where they move from and go from there .Yes I thought about lug nuts also but they were to obvious, but it could very well be.Do you feel anything through the steering wheel? You can find some of this stuff through the seat of your pants.Good Luck.
