I would never even think of changing from the LM1 resonators to the LM2. I'm old school and I like it loud! (Before buying my GT in '02, I owned a heavily modified '79 Vette 500+RWHP with full length chrome Hooker Headers and 4 inch chrome sidepipes - that car was VERY LOUD! [sm=lildevil.gif])

SLP does offer the LM2 and the Powerflo systems which are an easy swap - It just would never happen on my car!

I also have a pair of SLP race pipes sitting in a box if I ever decide to get rid of my cats! (The swap only takes about 30 minutes.)

If you have an x-pipe with cats I would recommend the LM1. If you have an x-pipe without cats I still like the LM1. However, it may be a little too loud for most. It also depends on whether or not you have headers on your car.

To be honest I like the combination of Long tubes, x-pipe with cats, and LM1.

Long tubes + off road x-pipe + LM1 = VERY LOUD!
