What is the main use of the car? If it is a daly driver go with BFGoodrich G-Force KDW 2's I have had them on my car for about a year and I love them great all around tire.

See I don't know what the biggest size you can go on 17x8 I have 18x9 and I have 245/40 front and 285/40 in back.

I run Hankook Venus 245/45's up front and I have BFG G-force T/A DR II's out back 275/40's. They hook incredibly and look killer. That's on my 17x8's

For track only tires get the MT's. For the street, the Nittos will get you the most milage.

I work at a tire shop when I'm not in school for the last 3 years. I can tell you that BFG KDW T/A is for sure the best thing you're going to get. Nitto's - harder tire=more treadlife. MT's-Great Track Tire, soft tire=terrible treadlife unbelievable hooks. BFG's-softer tire than Nitto, and a little less expensive in most cases=moderate/high treadlife and they hook great. I had kuhmo 275/40/17 just to get be by in the rears and I could burn the **** out of em. If it's performance, treadlife, and price. Gotta go with the BFG's. I got em on my car. But to be honest with you. On an 8inch rim, you're not gonna put all 275 to the ground. Only about 265, the lip is just as wide as the rim, so the tire cups. (get it?) Dont waste your money for the looks of a 275. I did, get 265 it will be perfect. Unless you get a wider rim, stick to 26540-45/17. Hope it helps man.

Toyo are cheap tires that are hard and don't perform very well. If you like them. Cool, I'm not a fan. I had toyo's too and they were just for fun. They turn over so easy, for performance and price, gotta be BFG's.
