Default RE: Storing a mustang

Yea, definitely change the oil and air up the tires. I put some sta-bil in the gas tank and filled it up. i didn't put mine on jack stands but i was able to roll it back and forth every week to avoid the flat spots. if you can't get to your car and are going the jackstand route, make sure that the tires are not totally off the ground (ie. hanging from the springs) either. you might also want to put a towel under each wiper blade to keep them from sticking to the windshield or leaving marks. a box of baking soda inside the car will keep odors away. some guys put mothballs around the car to keep the rodents away, I also covered my exhaust pipes with foil to keep mice out. a car cover is a good idea too. if you are storing on a concrete floor, it may not be a bad idea to put a tarp or other moisture barrier underneath your car to keep the moisture off the underside. i didn't do that this winter but probably will next. of course, i'm pretty **** about my car, so some of this may be unnecessary but it gave me some peace of mind.
