I get a wierd clunk noise when i turn the wheel completly, and when i put a lot of pressure on the brakes. You cant feel a wierd vibration in the car or nuthin when it happens, but you can hear it, any one know whats up?

If the car has close to 100 K, miles balljoints for sure. But I've changed them with as little as 50K on an F- series.

doesn't rule them out. It sounds like a ball joint, either they give you a sloppy feel in the steering wheel, they squeak or they clunk like that.

You can jack up the front of the car and pry on them and see if they have any play too

I agree with monkeydude3. Jack it up, grab the tire at 9o'clock and 3o'clock and shake it a little. If it makes a noise or like he said there is play in it (slop), then it's ball joints. Good luck man!

I was geting a popping noise.

I inspected the the ball-joints. No play, but the boots were ripped....

After replacing the ball-joints the noise was still there. It turned out to be A-Arm bushings...

I had all that done with new goodyear tires and alignment and I can say it rides like a different car...

Oh, I almost forgot. If you are in the habit of turning the wheels while your car is not moving, try not to do that because its the leading cause of ball-joint wear...

Vibration in the brakes is caused from warped rotors, this happens when you use an impact wrech to bolt on the wheels inted of a torque wrench.
