Default LM1's + X Pipe + Silencer

As most know i just had my lm1's and X pipe installed yesterday and i have heard that there can be silencers installed. Is there any truth to this and will it quiet it down a bit, i mean i want it to be loud but i dont wanna fix-it ticket for this.

Thanx,

um only silencer ive seen is for imports with there 5 inch tip. Ive never seen it from an american car. If you dont already have a catted x... if you get cats that should reduce the sound.

If ya don't like it the best thing for you to do is probably buy the LM2 mufflers/resonators and just switch the LM1s out. You've got it to where it's about as quiet as it's gonna get unless you were to switch to an Hpipe but even then it would still be pretty loud.

you can get inserts they are made by Car Chemisty they would quite it down, while still giving you added power...for the GOOD backpressure, but not clog pressure, like cats....

but my Q is why would you take your cats off, and not want a "fix it" ticket loud? that just is retarded, you gotta put on some HEAVLY silenced muffs to make of the dif....

If you didn't want a loud exhaust note you shouldn't have installed the LM1's. If I were you I wouldn't even think about removing them or swapping them for the LM2's. Louder is better and I personally feel that the SLP Loud Mouth exhaust system sounds great on Mustang GT's especially at WOT.

Why would you want to silence what you just made loud?

LOUDER IS BETTER! [sm=trust_me.gif]
