my car was hit in the passenger side 1/4 panel and it messed up my full length CAI so i had to cut it off to a RAI and not it idles funny sometimes, rpms drop really low like to 400 or 500 for no reason and it has even died on me while cruising at 40 mph i just got my insurance money so ive ordered a JLT RAI and i noticed that it included a MAF adaptor i was wondering what that is and if thats the reason my homeade RAI is acting up

it makes it so the filter can attach to the maf.

yea all it is is soo the filter can attatch to the maf. i just put mine on last week.

hmmm maybe somethign was just messed up with mine after i cut it i dunno.. but anyway what do you think of that RAI sounds like you have a pretty badass car any times?

i love it. i like the look more then the regular cai's. no times yet. maybe this summer when i get my new rims and tires

did you feel any gains from the RAI? yea once you get sometimes let me know right now would be a great time to go cuz its a little cooler outside i ran my best times ever 2 weeks ago with no other mods other than swapping from welded flows to a catback and that wont make .3 seconds
