I did it with jack stands in my driveway.

The only tools I didn't have that I needed were a 22mm open end wrench for the O2 sensors and some Erwin stripped nut sockets but that's because a helper thought he would tighten the driver side manifold bolts instead of loosen them with my impact gun.

I had a leak on the passenger side with the new X-Pipe so I had to get a new gasket. Other than that, should be a simple install.

it's all pretty straight forward and easy oh yeah EXCEPT for the passenger side bolts that hook up to the exhaust manifold. they are a bitch to get to and will take some time. so be prepared for that and you'l be good.

As others mentioned, it's a driveway job...

Go ahead and get a new gasket - used on the PS only between manifold and headpipe. Cheap insurance.
Soak the bolts with PB Blaster a couple days before, then again when you start.
You'll need a 1/2" drive 15mm socket, and a universal joint is VERY helpful (and usually necessary)!

There isnt a gasket on the driver side? Curious because my new H-pipe should be here soon.

I was surprised how easy the passenger side was after reading about how terrible it was. I used a deep well socket, a universal, and a 12" extension and got to both passenger bolts just fine.

After I got the tip from the forum to remove the front O2 sensors before dropping the pipe, it was 100 times easier to reach the passenger side bolts. With the O2 sensor out of the way (and dangling) I could reach my whole hand up in there and I don't have small hands.

PB Blaster and the right extensions make the manifold studs/nuts a breeze. On either side.

very funny man I had to use a torch to get the passenger side out. Somehow the 02 sensor shattered when I touched it so that's added to the list. My midpipe was a ***** to drop... lol

seems like my car has given me every goofy obstacle it can so far

Correct, passenger side only - driver's side is a different type of connection.
Some people reuse the original gasket. I figured it was worth $8 to me to NOT have to redo the job if the old one leaked!

Anything wrong with not fixing the leak? I installed mine and i know i have a leak, and i reused the stock gasket. The flanges are flush, and tight.
