1 for the passenger side. You can use the metal one from the factory midpipe. It should be fine.

Last time i checked A midpide, like an X or an H pipe does not require a gasket. Its all bolts. But i have a 98 and i think the exhaust system is all the same. I dont know what you guys are talking about.....

+1... there were no gaskets in the stock midpipe when I took it off, and the new one just had some "flare fittings" that bolted together.

there is one gasket on the passenger front conection of the midpipe. It may have varied at some point but it is there. $10 from ford (kinda a rip) but no one could get it to me in time, so I just bit the bullet.

yea its on the passenger side because Ford did not use a ball/flange fitting or whatever it is called. i'm 99% sure you can re-use the old one.

I've re-used it three times no leaks, just be sure you tighten the RS (gasket side) down first, and snug, before you tighten the LS or you will crush the gasket and you will leak.
