I want loud but not too loud. Help
I want something that's going to be loud but not too loud. Too loud = cops attention. I would only "want" it to attract cops attention if I got on it. However at a stop light I want it to sit rumbling enough to where people hear it and think it sounds nasty. Everyone get what i'm saying? So what should I get? Set up and all. Mid-pipe? Full exhaust? What? I want to keep the cats on. I was thinking LM1s but i'm affraid they might be too loud. It's for a 98gt.

Any SLP's are going to be incredibly loud.
Flowmasters will be loud too. A Magnaflow setup will only be LOUD when you go WOT, otherwise it has a mean grumble and will grab attention, but won't **** off cops or neighbors.

Get Magnaflow Cat back, that's what I have and it's PERFECT for what you're saying. Quiet at idle, but you can hear it when you get on it. Then get a catted X and it'll really liven it up. I'm getting either Bassani X or a Magnaflow X to go with my cat back this summer.
and anything Flowmaster is going to be loud, but it's gonna sound like dirty ***** smell......that's my opinion anyway

I aggree with the Magnaflows. I love mine, but I presonally would get an h-pipe with them. I have heard a lot of x-pipes and h-pipes and there is nothing like the low rumble of an H-pipe. But I guess if your looking for something a little more loud then go with the X.

Was what I based my decision on and it turns out to be an accurate statement.

i think bassanni is a possibility if youve got lots of $$
if not, everyone here seems to think that magnaflows are a good choice
magnapacks arent though, ive heard they are almost as loud as stingers and LM II's
