supercharger help!
im goin to build a engine to jack up the boost on the supercharger......but what i need to know is which is the best superchager out there? which supercharger gives me the most hp.....i wanna make my car into a 10-11 second street warrior.....i know its going to be an expensive road, after supsension and everything, but what i need to know right now is which supercharger will suite me best, what about the kb2.2? i also wants a supercharger that screams!!!!i want ppl to really know wat i got under the hood! thanks guys in advanced!

You could probably get your car into the 10's with either a positive displacment blower or a centrifugal. The way i would have you diffenetiate the 2 for your your use is dependant on street use. If this is a daily driver, id go twin screw. If this was mostly a track car and not being driven daily, id say go with an intercooled centrifugal setup, like a Procharger. Both setups will be fast; both setups will deliver performance; but the low end torque made by the screw suits street use, and that'[s how i would differentiate the 2 vs which one is right for you.

if you want your car into the 10's, i'm guessing that it isn't a daily driver. therefore i would go with a vortech or some other type of centrifugal s/c because the twin screw's (like KB) aren't as good in the 1/4. they make boost very quick but you will see better 1/4 times with a centrifugal. now to choose a brand, i can't help you with. i don't know much about the brands other than i've heard very good things about vortech

I say get a nice centrifugal setup going. The kinda power hes gunna be making to get into the 10s is going to make the twin screw instant boost also equal instant loss of traction on the street.

i dont really know anything bout the superchargers, so whats everyone recommending? vortech, procharger, kb, etc......dont kno much bout each of them, so please specify what kind of vortech or what not. like i did say i wanna get into the 10-11s in 1/4 and i want some nice dyno numbers also , i plan on driving my car quite often, will have another vehicle though so i wont be drivin EVERY day but its not just a track car either. Thanks
