Default RE: Transmission Cooler

It was pricy, I had them install the trans. cooler, and a Trans-Go shift kit, I supplied them with the Royal Purple trans. fluid and if I remember corectly total cost was around $550 or so for the install. Like I said it is pricy, but I would rather pay to have it done right the first time that try it myself and screw it up and have to buy a new transmission and have that installed. Remember I supplied the fluid that I purchased from 50resto (I think it was $8.95 qt) and had to get 16 Qts so it is not cheep..

An aftermarket radiator most likley noe have the built in transmission cooler; and even if it does the built in coolers do not do enough to keep the temps down where they should be so you don't burn up your trans.

Now you've made me second guess my choice of tranny coolers. i was set on a B&M cooler as it was sold "as a Kit" unlike any of those posted above.... Damnitt, I need to know which ones come with all the neccessary hoses, brackets, etc etc. and will be small enough to be mounted infront of my radiator.

DIVER8374 Exactly what tranny cooler do you have on your car???
