It means that the crank pully has to be bolted to the stock harmonic (sp) baliencer in order for it to work properly. The steeda's are non-piggy back meaning that it just replaces the stock crank pully (you dont have to bolt anything to it just replace the stock one).

Yes they are the piggy back kind, get the Steeda's at the bottom of the page for $132 and be done with it, Steeda's are what I have and they work great!!
