After 5 grueling hours of installing the keyless entry system. It has finally worked with trunk release too!! Now I've got the remote start to work as well and then I'm all done!!! Wiring in a stick car sucks... damn clutch!

it didn't come with that? I thought you were not able to put a remote start on a stick?

You can... no shop in their right mind will do it for you. You just have to do it yourself. There's no sensor detecting what gear it is in, so if one day he forgets and leaves it in gear and uses the auto start, his stang will drive itself right into an accident.

damn!!!
w007 w007

i got everything installed now... keyless entry, trunk release, and remote start!!

now hear this, in order to activate the remote start, the car must be set in reservation mode (gear in neutral, parking brake ON, and two taps to the brake pedal). The car will continue to run when the key is pulled out however once you get out of the car and close the door, the engine will shut off. Once the reservation mode is set, the car is ready for remote start! What a great feeling! Cold A/C in the summer and comfy warmth in the winter. Well I live in sunny florida so the cold A/C helps a whole lot =D

So basically, if you set the car in gear, the car will NOT remote start! =D

Trusting your vehicle to a sensor: Not a good idea. I would leave it in neutral anyways. Our e-brakes suck. Mine would idle down the road with the e-brake on, no joke.
