If it's small enought to get past the filter, what in God's name is that screen going to do? You did well, the screen is garbage and needed to be removed.

Any air getting in on the intake side of the MAF sensor will throw the computer off and make the car run rough and bad. Plug the hole.

Mine is an 03, right now I have it just covered with black tape a couple of times. I am having a hell of a time finding a plug that will fit. The hole is about the size of a dime.

Another thing, you sound knowledgable. I bought my mach 1 last year and it had all kinds of mods. I bought it from a dealership and they told me that the guy that owned it before had it dynoed at 400HP. Some of the mods I know of are a shift kit(it is automatic), BBK CAI, 4.10 gears, New exhaust. What other mods could it have to get it to 400. What does it start at. The engine is 4.6L DOHC. Could the throttle body be changed? I measured the holes and they appear to be 2" each. I dont know alot. Could you helpout, please. Here is a pic of the throttle body.

It starts at 305 BHP, not rear wheel... to get it to 400 RWHP it would take more than a full set of bolt-ons, you're looking at a shot of nitrous or a blower.

Yes you can change the throttle body. Companies make new ones for the machs, just look around.

He's asking if they're changed based on the dimensions...not if he can change them.
