Default Removing Fuel Rail and injectors

I am about to remove the rail and injectors on a 1996 gt. The instructions I have say to remove as a assembly. I took the 4 bolts out that hold down the rails. So do I just wiggle and pull up now or is there a trick to it?

just wiggle em and pull up and the injectors will come out of either the rail or the intake mainifold. Make sure you drain off the excess fuel pressure before you do (there is a acess point on the rail and you can push it down with a screwdriver WHILE holding a rag around it)

keep a rag around the injectors too cause some gas will still drip out. they all come out just by wiggling, but the one under the plenum you might have a little trouble with, if the rail is still hooked up then just pull up on he rail and wiggle that one out. took me half an hour or so to replace all mine.

Do you have to worry about the o-rings on the fuel rails? (leakage and etc)

You should replace the o-rings..

Also oil the o-rings before you put in the injectors...

I ended up just getting new injectors because the tips on mine were cracking.

I did look into rebuild kits and used injectors, but I could not pass up fresh injectors for under $13 each.
