Need help..... my car runs crapy!!!!!!
What's up guys, well I have a 99 GT, All stock. it's been real good car but suddenly my engine started getting shaky, got it checked out and it was an o2 sensor. I got that replaced and it was runnig good. 1 week later the same thing is going on, and my "check engine" light came on. I changed the spark plugs, cheked all coils, vac leaks and cleaned the IAC..... still the same thing is going on. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i can see the furl filter thing happen, but i have had a stang last 115000 miles and finally changed the stock fuel filter. a 99 running shakey. well first check to see if all the recalls were done on that year. check to see if the sparkplugs are not corroded or full of white stuff which means you are running too rich and check the codes you are getting.

it starts fine, and runs good when the engine is cold, but when it gets warm up it does jerk as i step on the gas. About the codes i dont know, the mechanic told me it was an 02 sensor, he change the one on the passenger side by the engine. could it be another o2 sensor???????

If you still have codes then obviously the computer is trying to tell you where the problem is. Get the codes scanned at Autozone for free or go back to your mechanic and ask to check the codes.
From your description it definitely sounds like an O2 sensor problem. When the engine is cold it runs in open loop and doesn't use the o2 sensor feedback for engine control. Once it reaches specific conditions it switches to closed loop and uses the o2 sensors. That's when it runs ****ty.
Remember to disconnect the battery to reset the engine computer after changing a faulty sensor etc.
