If you dont have enough for the s/c, then Theres not better mod than cams, headwork. That would be sick. Im sure you know this, but you can see 300+ at the wheels after those mods.

I just can't wait to get cams. I've never seen a new 2v gt cammed around here. And it'll be great when people see it belonging to an 18 year old kid

http://gotstang.com/profile.php?Duck...=1&page=3#jump there are some more pics of my stang on that site. Im 18 as well and there arent many cammed stangs around my house that would be a great attention grabber plus the increased powerband would awesome im not out to smoke vettes or anything so thats what im leaning toward. I dont know much about cam companies so give me some help. I know of Comp,Crane and VT. Which do yall recommened? and if i go through with cams i want the sound so will a Stage 1 VT cam as IWinULose suggested going to be a sound that will satify me? if you have any videos or can send me a link of some cammed stang videos that would be awesome

Like what ducky said earlier, will stage 1 cams give a noticeable amount of lope over stock?

Ultimately, Ducky, it is gonna be your choice. But if you decide to go with cams, you need to understand a few things about them. For a bolt on 2v, the Stage 1s are the right choice, unless you plan on going forced induction in the near future. Then Stage2s might be feasible. Stage 2s on a 2v bolt on car might actually cause power loss, for the simple fact that they are just so big and lopey. There are a few people on this board who have went Stage 2, and actually regretted doing so. Stage 2s make power up to a point where your stock motor won't rev to. I strongly advise this: If you decide against the supercharger, get Stage 1 VT cams, and get a set of their heads and call it a day. That should be good for a little 50-70hp boost. Anyway, if you would like to hear some cams....try this: https://mustangforums.com/m_1162037/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm
