Default Clear Fog Lights

Just finished installing a set of clear fog lights. I need to replace the drivers side because it was damaged and decided to go with these.

The look nice, install took less then 30mins. Had to do it by feel because everything is tucked away but not to hard. I don't have any night pics yet (not dark yet) and I am waiting for my bulbs to come in which should be early this coming week.

Here are some pics

Those look nice, where did you get them?

I have clear headlights...and then ugly fogs. So I have been considering new clear fogs as well.

Well done! I got the same clear foggers but haven't put them in yet. Did you get the Luminics bulbs as well? I got the pure blue ones and am eager to see how well they work.

Was the install tricky at all? It seems pretty straight forward.

Quick Write up.

Get the front end up off the ground and supported with jack stands.

You will need a 7mm socket and atleast 9" of extension.

There is one screw coming in from the bottom of the bumper and there are two more on top.

The two on the top will have to be done by feel. You can but one hand up behind the fog light and the other in from in front of the radiator (there is a splash guard that just move out of the way)

Pull the top two out.

Disconnect the light and pull it out.

Swap the screw spring clip on the stock fog light to the new fog light (the one from the bumper screw) and install the new bulb

Put the new light in and install the lower screw loose.

The fun part is next you will need to guide the top screws up into there holes and then get them lined up with the holes in the bumper. Not as hard as it seems.

Tighten the top 2 screws.

Tighten the bottom screw.

Reconnect the wire harness.

Looking from the front of the bumper at the fog light towards the center of the car you will see an adjustment screw. I adjusted the light until it fit the bumper correctly and your done.

I used my air rachets and it made life alot easier, but there is plenty of room to use a standard rachet.
